• Where many organizations focus on improving the immediate lives of those living with cancer, our purpose is to help them and their families well into the future by supporting their pursuit of a college education. Education is key to long-term success, yet out of reach for many financially devastated young cancer patients. TRCF provides 4 years of support to scholars in the form of college scholarships. We target teen cancer survivors from low-income families that have been disproportionately affected by their cancer diagnosis.

  The Ruth Cheatham Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to provide funding to cancer patients and cancer survivors, aged 17-26, who wish to continue their education through an accredited undergraduate school, trade school or graduate school. Scholarships will be awarded to applicants based on financial need and personal hardship. Please take your time to fill out the form completely and accurately. The Ruth Cheatham Foundation Scholarship Fund does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age or handicap. Applicants must be a full-time student (enrolled in 24 credit hours a year) and a US resident.
