Applicants are encouraged to focus on projects utilizing social media outreach and other creative ways such as Zoom to gain publicity. Applicants may also distribute brochures, speak to a class or club or conduct a tabling event where possible to encourage New Yorkers to enroll in the NYS Donate Life Registry via smartphone, laptop or computer. Applicants may request a designated URL to track Donate Life Registry enrollments (contact moliver@ebsr.org). The URL would be active from the date provided until May 15.

Applicants should write a short essay, 1-2 typewritten pages, doubled-spaced, describing an educational or public service initiative in which the student participated that promoted eye, organ and tissue donation (eye information must be included). The Eye-Bank can provide promotional materials needed for any outreach program. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
