  • Scholarship Description
  • We want to support the growth of the Michigan economy through a partnership with Cleary University for students interested in pursuing a career in the state. Applicants can enroll in any of Cleary University’s programs and degrees to be eligible for the scholarship.Special consideration will be given for applicants who enroll in programs that help meet the state’s high-demand careers through 2026. Interested applicants can go to: https://www.laketrust.org/Foundation/Scholarships for more details, information on eligibility and to apply. Must be a Michigan resident and eligible for a Lake Trust membership. Must complete FAFSA in accordance with Cleary University’s admission requirements. In addition, applicants will need to submit a 600-word essay describing your chosen field, why it’s important to join the Michigan labor force, and how you want to make a difference in Michigan communities, a reference letter by a non-family member, and a video that explains your chosen field of study and how this field meets one of Michigan’s high-demand careers through 2026.
