I wish to know what criteria are used to determine who is the most valuable student. Is it off of grades? Test scores? Community service? Others? I can say that I'm a determined student who always applies himself. I hope to pursue doctoral work, later in life, in flute performance and in music theory. I know this scholarship would allow me to make it through undergraduate work while saving money for graduate studies. Thank you for your time, I'm sure people would love to know what makes people the most valuable candidate.
