  • The Mark Kilroy Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school senior to include disadvantaged students from Galveston and Brazoria County, Texas High Schools, (i.e. currently serving Santa Fe, Angleton, Arcadia, Ball, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Dickinson, Hitchcock, Manvel, O’Connell and Sweeny), who will attend Texas accredited college or trade/technical schools. We encourage all high school seniors or recent high school graduates to apply. Each $4,000 scholarship will be paid over four years or agreed upon time period based on academic performance and completed semester hours. We accept scholarship applications when you become a Santa Fe, Angleton, Arcadia, Ball, Brazosport, Brazoswood, Dickinson, Hitchcock, Manvel, O’Connell or Sweeny High School senior and up to one year after you graduate. Students must be enrolled and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours, or agreed upon hours and requirements for trade or technical schools; and maintain a grade point average (GPA) per semester of 2.5 or better based on a 4.0 grading system. Our Spring Application Deadline is on April 15th and our Fall Application Deadline is on November 15th.
