Propel Scholars Award (PSA) is a need-based scholarship program that provides renewable awards to students in low-income communities. Areas are outlined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. PSA offers a unique combination of scholarship awarding, financial literacy and service work to promote the financial and moral development of participants. PSA provides select scholarship winners with a $2,500 renewable award covering four years of the undergraduate experience. Recipients will receive a total of $10,000 in scholarship funds. Scholarship awards are renewed for students who annually participate in the PSA financial literacy workshop series annually and completes 50 hours of community service in their hometown or other struggling communities.
If you are a senior in high school and a US citizen, national, or permanent resident, in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, you are eligible. The Propel Scholars Award is a need-based scholarship program that provide financial awarding to students who reside in low income communities according to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Student must be Pell Grant eligible or have a Expected Family Contribution of $10,000 or below. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
