  • Scholarship Description
  • The SJSL will award scholarship(s) to applicant(s) based on participation in the South Jersey Soccer League, academic achievement, school activities, and participation in high school sports and community service.

    South Jersey Soccer League players and former players who have participated in the SJSL for boys for at least two years or 4 seasons and who will graduate high school in the spring of 2021 and continue their adult education in a college or university.

    Candidates must complete the application which may be obtained via the SJSL website and submit it no later than Monday, March 1st. Winners will be announced in May at the SJSL General Membership meeting. The number of scholarships given out each year will be based on the quantity and quality of applications and the availability of funds. At least one scholarship will be awarded each year. The recipient of a scholarship must provide proof of registration for the first semesteror equivalent in order for payment of the scholarship to be processed. The scholarship amount will be remitted directly to the applicable college or university. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
