• Scholarship Description
• The Boston Marathon Scholarship was established leading up to the 2017 Boston Marathon, spearheaded by Susan Maggioni, Ph.D., J.D., Dean of Business & Professional Studies, to support students pursuing an associate degree at MassBay Community College. Please submit a 250-300 word essay explaining how this scholarship will assist you in achieving your goals. Your essay is the reviewer’s primary vehicle to determine scholarship recipients. Please tell us about yourself and why you need this scholarship; how it will help you with your educational goals. Please be diligent in carefully preparing your submitted essay.

  Applicants must be/have/submit: Commonwealth of Massachusetts resident; Declared major pursuing an associate degree; Completed a minimum of 12 credits at MassBay; Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher; Enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits in award semester; A 250-300 word essay explaining how this scholarship will assist you in achieving your goals.
