Beacon Of Light Community Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• The Ladies Auxiliary of Second Baptist created a Beacon of Light Community Scholarship to assist deserving students beyond the walls of the church. The scholarship is open to any senior graduating this year who resides in Evanston or Skokie, IL. To qualify for the one-time $1,000 award, applicants must complete an application, have performed at least 40 hours of community service (in the last four years), and compose an essay. The award can be used for any accredited college, university, or vocational school. The application can be found at our website (click on the Scholarship App tab).
