• The University of Michigan Sidney J. and Irene Shipman Scholarship is a merit-based award for incoming U-M students that show high academic achievement, leadership abilities, and exceptional talent in the arts and sciences.

  To be eligible, applicants must be a legal US resident, and be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credits). This is renewable upon a 3.0 GPA, as well as completion of at least 20 hours of volunteer service over the course of each academic year.
